About Us

New Beginnings Cat Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, all volunteer cat rescue. Founded in 2005, New Beginnings Cat Rescue is an all volunteer, no-kill cat rescue dedicated to rescuing cats from euthanasia at Garland Animal Control. We are foster based and the in-store cat rescue for the PetSmart located at George Bush Freeway and North Garland Avenue in Garland, Texas.

New Beginnings Cat Rescue is dedicated to alleviating the crisis and tragedy of unwanted and abandoned cats, with an emphasis on addressing cat overpopulation issues and educating the public about the importance of spaying and neutering.

Our Mission Statement

With respect and compassion for all cats, New Beginnings Cat Rescue promotes lifelong relationships between people and animals, providing foster care for each precious life until adopted into a good home as an indoor cat. Our mission is to work with the public, other rescue groups, and animal control to save homeless cats in our community.
